La Trappe

Background
Trappist beer is not some ordinary Abbey beer! Only seven Trappist beers in the world are being produced, of which one is produced in the Netherlands. Trappist beer has a perfect taste and is 100% naturally brewed. This makes La Trappe very special.Therefore it deserved a particular design approach.

Concept
Our objective was to distance La Trappe from the six other players, as well as to have an impact on the shelf among the many other beers. A strong and simple, yet highly recognisable design that does justice to the brand’s context. Seeing the concept, the abbot sighed, ‘Ahh! Finally, some silence in my packaging.’
